Who we are

We are a community of organizers, activists, and working-class Staten Islanders who reject the normalization of occupation, oppression, and genocide.

Solidarity With Palestine

We stand in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people facing genocide, occupation, and systemic oppression for over 100 years. We recognize the interconnectedness of struggles against colonialism, from Staten Island to Gaza, from Standing Rock to Sheikh Jarrah. The fight for Palestinian liberation is part of the global fight against settler colonialism, apartheid, and imperialism.

We affirm the right of Palestinians to live with dignity, freedom, and self-determination. We reject the narratives that dehumanize and criminalize Palestinian resistance, and we commit to amplifying Palestinian voices, confronting misinformation, and holding systems of power accountable.

Solidarity means action. It means showing up, speaking out, and organizing against the structures that uphold occupation, militarization, and injustice-wherever they exist.

Solidarity with the Indigenous Lenape tribes, including the Tappan, Hackensack, and Raritan sub-tribes.

We are gathered today on the traditional, unceded lands of the Lenape people, whose stewardship of this land predates colonial settlement.

The Lenape were forcibly displaced from their homeland through violence, displacement, and systemic erasure, a legacy that continues to impact Indigenous communities today.

We honor the Lenape people, past and present, and recognize that colonialism is not just a historical event but an ongoing structure that shapes our realities.

Acknowledgment alone is not enough. It must be coupled with action, supporting Indigenous sovereignty, amplifying Indigenous voices, and standing in solidarity with movements for justice, land reclamation, and decolonization.

Solidarity with Liberation of Black People

We acknowledge that this country was built on the stolen labor, bodies, and lives of enslaved African people. The wealth, infrastructure, and institutions that exist in the United States today were made possible through the forced enslavement of Black people, a system of racial capitalism that continues to shape our world through mass incarceration, systemic racism, and economic oppression.

We honor Black resistance, from abolitionists to today’s freedom fighters, and recognize that the struggle for Black liberation is deeply connected to all fights against colonialism, apartheid, and oppression. We recognize that the struggle for Black liberation did not end with the abolition of slavery, it persists in the fight against police violence, redlining, voter suppression, the prison-industrial complex, and other systems designed to uphold white supremacy.

We honor Black freedom fighters, past and present, who have led the charge for justice, equity, and self-determination. We understand that our struggles are interconnected. The same forces that uphold the genocide of Palestinians, the displacement of Indigenous peoples, and the exploitation of workers worldwide are deeply tied to anti-Blackness. Liberation is not selective. None of us are free until all of us are free.

We commit to standing in solidarity with Black liberation movements, not just in words, but in action, working toward justice, reparations, and true freedom.
